PSYCHIATRY
Compass Health is seeking psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners (APRNs) who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative team delivering both telepsychiatry and in-person services. Our providers work alongside a dedicated support staff within a full continuum of behavioral health programs designed to meet the needs and acuity of our clients.
We currently have openings for full- and part-time providers, including opportunities for evening and weekend work, as well as inpatient and outpatient services. Providers on J-1 waiver or H1-B visa status are encouraged to apply.
Position Highlights
Patient care
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, ongoing medication management, and oversee treatment for psychiatric rehabilitation and substance use disorder consumers.
Team collaboration
Participate in leadership and team workgroups, as well as medical staff meetings.
Technology & documentation
Proficient use of Electronic Health Records (EHR), including e-prescribing.
Qualifications
Psychiatrist
- Completion of an approved residency in General Psychiatry
- Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Licensed Physician in the State of Missouri (and state of residency if required)
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- ANCC Psychiatric Certification (PMHNP) or CNS Psychiatric Specialty
- Master of Science or Doctorate in Psychiatric Nursing
- Licensed in the State of Missouri
