Clinical Rotations / Preceptorships

Compass Health Network is committed to educational enrichment, collaboration, and hands-on clinical learning. We offer numerous opportunities for preceptorships and clinical rotations.

A preceptorship or clinical rotation is a mentored experience in which a practicing physician or nurse practitioner provides instruction, training, and supervision to a student. These experiences allow students to:
  • Explore a specific clinical field
  • Understand the realities of a healthcare career
  • Identify personal strengths, interests, and areas for growth
  • Gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting
Students report that preceptorships and rotations are an excellent way to improve clinical skills and prepare for the workforce.
