Internships / Practicums
Compass Health Network is committed to educational enrichment, collaboration, and hands-on learning. We offer numerous opportunities for internships, practicums, preceptorships, and clinical rotations. These are mentored experiences in which a practicing therapist, counselor, or clinical supervisor provides personal instruction, training, and supervision.

Application Process
2. Email the following to CompassonCampus@compasshn.org:
- Completed Student Application
- Resume
- Internship/Practicum description (as provided by your school/class, if applicable), including expectations, goals, required hours, and agency/field site requirements.
3. Our Student Services staff will determine availability and connect you with an appropriate faculty member or preceptor to match your program requirements and learning needs.
4. Once a match is found, you will be notified and provided with additional paperwork to facilitate program entry.
5. If a match is unavailable, you will be informed promptly so you can pursue opportunities with alternative organizations.

Policies to Consider
Supervision requirements: Master’s-level students are not permitted to provide clinical services independently. Students co-facilitate services under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Programs requiring independent counseling without a clinician present cannot be accommodated.
Recording policies: Compass Health Network does not allow third-party applications for recording clients (including Supervision Assist). All recording is managed by our IT department using our equipment and secure file transmission to your school. Please verify with your school that this process aligns with program requirements.
