Holistic Approach to Wellness
At Compass Health Network, we believe wellness means caring for the whole person. That’s why we created Better & Better with Balance, our employee wellness program designed around the eight dimensions of wellness.
Powered by the Sonic Boom Wellness app, the program connects employees with tools, resources, and social challenges that make healthy living more engaging. Participants can track progress, join activities, and even earn a quarterly incentive.
To further support wellbeing, employees also receive:
- Free annual onsite health screenings
- XPonential+ membership with access to a variety of fitness and wellness classes online and on demand
- Ongoing wellness communications and interactive activities
Since 2021, our program has been recognized by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services with the Platinum Worksite Wellness Award—the highest honor for workplace wellness in the state.

Compass Health Network is committed to supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals. We provide hands-on learning experiences through internships, practicums, preceptorships, and clinical rotations across a variety of disciplines.
These opportunities pair students with experienced therapists, counselors, and clinical supervisors who provide personal instruction, mentorship, and guidance. Students gain the chance to:
- Explore their field of study in a real-world setting
- See firsthand what a career in behavioral health or healthcare looks like
- Identify personal strengths, interests, and areas for growth
- Build confidence and professional skills for the future

Students work alongside Compass professionals, applying classroom knowledge to real client care while developing essential skills.

Preceptorships & Clinical Rotations
Guided by clinical supervisors, students experience the responsibilities and realities of direct patient care, gaining valuable exposure in a supportive learning environment. Opportunities may include:

- Nursing and medical clinical rotations
- Counseling and therapy preceptorships
- Psychology Training Opportunities – Students may participate in supervised and/or cofacilitated assessment, therapy, and consultation experiences, preparing them for future licensure and professional practice in the field of psychology.
